A new approach to marketing and photography helped boost a renowned ceramic academy’s social media reach.

When I joined forces with NY / NJ Academy of Ceramic Art, social media was not not a marketing priority. They primarily relied on traditional word-of-mouth and their long-standing reputation in the arts and education community. With my design and marketing help, we were able to develop a larger social media audience and foster a closer relationship to current and prospective students.

The Role of Photography

Photographing ceramic objects played a central role in providing rich content for social media and email marketing. Much of the student work was photographed routinely to promote the academy and the outstanding education that’s offered.
